 The redevelopment considered the “passeggiata del Gianicolo” (walking the Hill) with sculpture groups: the monuments of Giuseppe and Anita Garibaldi, the erms, the lighthouse, the connected green spaces and smaller gardens on the slopes.

AFTER: The Gianicolo Hill’s new 150th Anniversary flowerbed design

I participated in this project with a re-design of this long-degraded area, restyling of the historical border signs and creating new flowerbed motifs with spirals in the three colours of the Italian flag.

AFTER: Enjoying a walk of the Hill “Passeggiata del Gianicolo” through redesigned gardens

Two areas that received great public feedback were the area of Muro della Costituzione and near the monument for Anita Garibaldi with the official logo for the 150th Anniversary.
